Light: Thrives in bright, indirect sunlight. While it can tolerate some morning or late afternoon sun, intense midday rays will scorch its leaves. Insufficient light leads to "leggy" growth with large gaps between leaves and fading variegation.
Watering: Follow the "soak and dry" method. Allow the soil to dry out almost completely (top 2/3 of the pot) before watering thoroughly. It is highly sensitive to overwatering, which leads to yellowing leaves and root rot.
Soil: Use a well-draining cactus or succulent mix. Adding perlite, pumice, or coarse sand helps prevent waterlogged roots.
Temperature & Humidity: Prefers stable warmth between 60°F and 80°F. It is not frost-tolerant and should be kept away from cold drafts or temperatures below 50°F. It adapts well to average household humidity.
Toxicity: Generally considered non-toxic to cats, dogs, and humans. However, its long vines can be a play-hazard for pets, potentially leading to accidental damage to the plant.
