Philodendron Summer Glory 4"
The Philodendron 'Summer Glory' is a stunning 2016 hybrid created by breeder LariAnn Garner of Aroidia Research. It is a cross between Philodendron gloriosum and an unnamed Bob McColley hybrid (often cited as 'McColley’s Finale'). It is highly prized for its "color-transforming" foliage and increased durability compared to its parent species.

Light: Needs bright, indirect light to maintain its vivid variegation. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the lighter parts of the leaves.
Temperature: Warmth is critical for this species. It prefers temperatures between 65°F and 85°F; higher temperatures typically encourage more pronounced variegation.
Watering: Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry out before watering again. Overwatering can quickly lead to root rot.
Humidity: Thrives in high humidity (60% or higher), though it is moderately adaptable to average household levels.
Safety: Like other philodendrons, it is toxic to pets and humans if ingested.
