Philodendron 'Strawberry Shake' is a highly coveted, premium climbing aroid prized for its breathtaking, multi-colored variegation. As the rare variegated mutation of the classic Philodendron erubescens 'Red Emerald', its narrow, spade-shaped leaves feature a swirling mosaic of creamy white, soft yellow, apricot-orange, and bright strawberry-pink against a deep forest-green backdrop.
Because it inherits dark red petioles (stems) from its parentage, the bright pink splashes are incredibly striking, making each unique leaf look like a gourmet fruit smoothie.
Light: Needs bright, indirect light to maintain its vivid variegation. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the lighter parts of the leaves.
Temperature: Warmth is critical for this species. It prefers temperatures between 65°F and 85°F; higher temperatures typically encourage more pronounced variegation.
