• Light: Requires bright, indirect light to maintain its rich, dark color and prevent the leaves from fading to a lighter green. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves.

• Watering: The most crucial aspect of care is to avoid overwatering. Water thoroughly only when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry. The plant should never sit in consistently wet soil, which can lead to root rot.

• Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix, such as a quality indoor mix or succulent soil amended with perlite to improve drainage.

• Temperature & Humidity: Prefers typical indoor temperatures between 60°F and 85°F. It appreciates average to slightly higher humidity but adapts well to normal household conditions.

• Toxicity: The plant contains a milky white latex sap that is mildly toxic if ingested and can cause skin irritation for some people. Keep it away from pets and children.
