10" Dieffenbachia Snow
The Dieffenbachia 'Snow' (Dumb Cane) is a show-stopping tropical perennial prized for its large, broad leaves that look like they've been dusted with a heavy frost. The foliage features a creamy-white center with speckles of dark green toward the edges, making it a bright "pop" for dim corners.
Light: Needs bright, indirect light to maintain its vivid variegation. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the lighter parts of the leaves.
Temperature: Warmth is critical for this species. It prefers temperatures between 65°F and 85°F; higher temperatures typically encourage more pronounced variegation.
Watering: Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry out before watering again. Overwatering can quickly lead to root rot.
Humidity: Thrives in high humidity (60% or higher), though it is moderately adaptable to average household levels.
Safety: Like other philodendrons, it is toxic to pets and humans if ingested.
